Liberal Democrat MP for Twickenham, Munira Wilson, has confirmed that she will be standing at the next General Election.
The news has been confirmed to Nub News by a spokesperson for Munira Wilson MP.
Munira has been the MP for Twickenham since 12 December 2019 and also undertakes the role of Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Education.
Munira has lived in Twickenham since 2005, and now lives with her husband and young family in Whitton.

The 75-year-old widow has been fighting for the bus stop to be moved for over 22 years, stating that its location is affecting her health and well-being.

Temporary waiting restrictions are in place on Twickenham's York Street from today (Thursday 14 March) until Saturday 16 March.

Residents who live behind Strawberry Hill Station have shared their anger at the removal of a fence between the train station platform and residents' gardens.
Around nine months ago a noise-cancelling wooden fence was installed between the train station's platforms and the on-facing gardens by South Western Railways, who manage the station.

Chelsea striker, Sam Kerr, has pleaded not guilty to a 'racially aggravated offence' which took place in Twickenham.
The BBC has reported that a Metropoliton Police Spokesperson said: "The charge relates to an incident involving a police officer who was responding to a complaint involving a taxi fare on 30 January 2023 in Twickenham.
"Kerr was charged on 21 January this year "with a racially aggravated offence under Section 4A [of the] Public Order Act 1986."

Locanda Luna to reopen this afternoon following fire
Twickenham's popular Italian restaurant, Locanda Luna is reopening today after a three-month closure due to a fire.
They will be reopening from 4pm today (24 November), serving pizza and from 12pm tomorrow they will serve their whole menu.
The fire, which took place on 23 August 2023 caused damage to part of the internal ducting.
At the time, a representative from the London Fire Brigade said: "Part of Internal ducting running through a building, made up of a restaurant and flats, was damaged

Richmond Furniture Scheme (RFS), a charity that has been running in the borough for over 30 years, is providing furniture to those in need around the borough.
The scheme started just over 30 years ago in Kew as a furniture reuse operation and then 25 years ago, as the services grew it moved to its current site at Fortescue Road and became the Richmond Funriture Scheme as it is today.

Local artists and community members in Moormead, St Margarets have created a mural to put around the derelict Moormead Pavilion.

The London Duathlon took place yesterday (3 September) in Richmond Park.
The event, which was hosted by LimeLight Sports Club, saw around 2,000 people attend.
The race is regarded as one of the world's biggest and most popular duathlons, with participants from a range of experience levels.
As well as the picturesque surroundings provided by London's largest Royal Park, one of the main attractions of the London Duathlon is the chance to enjoy racing on a closed route.
